I wonder if it would be possible to use all of forgeworld to create one giant btb map or would that be too insane?

Imagine battling on the blood gulch part to control a teleporter that goes to a small map where we battle it out to reach another open area where the flag is, and we have to run it back through all those teleporters. First team to score wins.

i was thinking more of a multi flag game like sarge said instead of what invasion does, where you grab the power core and take it to the phantom/pelican. Multi flag on forgeworld using all the areas would be really epic.

Actually, forge world is way too lush to have a desert name. I'm taking suggestions. Make sure its an epic geographical location or feature...

I think you'd have to set the flag return time really high...but in all honesty, avalanche is relatively small compared to all of forge world, and even that's almost too big for 8v8. I think it would just end up with a lot of empty space.

You my friend, have clearly never played Sahara, overall, it's probably twice the size of Avalanche and it's PERFECT for 8V8.

It's a map that uses ALL of sandbox (not the pit though). Basically, there are 2 bases in the sky that you start off at, then you can telleport down to vehicle warehouses and take those for a spin trying to get accross one end of sandbox to the other. (The Towers are blocked so you can't get shot while outside of the boundries, which is were the bases are)

There's a structure to either side and directly in the middle (Adds for some cover and diversity in the map)

It's a CTF game where the flag has no return timer but is touch return. You only need one flag to score. (LAN flag for those who know what that is)

It's on Duce's file share, you should check it out. You should also note that this map was a team collaboration, loads of people helped out.

Its far from perfect, but we're up against the item limit AND the map is budget glitches so much I'd have to delete half the items to spawn anything new. Its been completely rebuilt twice, and tweaked 3 times in its current iteration. I think its as good as its going to get in h3. Hopefully forge world allows for a proper map of epic scale.

Edit: map / lan flag (touch return, no reset timer, no game timer, flag must be home to score, one to win). Its an homage to an epic game at a lan during the heyday of halo 1.
