I was going to remake standoff but I got confused during the build and ended up making a totally different map. It's not made completely yet but I think it will be awesome. It's got a little hint of Standoff in it.

Never thought i would get into forge but I really like it, so much more powerful and so many different areas and possibilities.

I myself have started two maps, and have ideas for others. Forge 2.0, like you said Haut is much more powerful and easier to use IMO. I will post pictures of my maps when they get closer to completion.

ditto, Jammy and I are working on a hog/groundpounder map, btb and multi team

something i feel is lacking in the big team line up at the moment

Its like those Br/sniper stadiums from H3 but no walls tht could cause distraction just a small foot ledge tht leads to the kill area (which I placed all around the rim of the field.
Since reach doesnt have vampire shield options, I increased resistance and shield charge rate by 10% (so make sure not to miss ::lol::)

any hints/fixes/tips appreciated.lol

Just saw an interesting use of spawning/despawning objects with the Invasion Gametype.

I havent tried it yet but its a cool effect that might be useful for some games. Especially if you want to make it seem more like an actual assault or invasion. Here is the the vid-makers original post over at ForgeHub. Give it a click.

Apathy originally had something like this on the 1st stage of his Invasion map. You had to plant the bomb at a structure that looked like some sort of generator or something and when it blew up, the old structure despawned, and a destroyed one with debris around spawned in its place. Pretty cool.
