Unfrigginbelievable: Kill 40 Opponents Complete 40 Weekly Challenges In A Row Without Dying

For real... 40 weekly challenges completed in a row. That's all of them (40/40, ALL, Never Failed...) since Reach released in September. Some were fun, some were really fun, some were easy, some were hard, a couple were ridonkulously hard, others were so repetative I wanted to beat my head against a wall. The last 2 weeks' challenges made me hate Halo.

I was going for 52 in a row, a year... but I don't know if I'll keep it up. With Bungie giving all their goodies away, (star nameplate, blue flames, etc.) I don't know if there's any reason to keep this up. This week's is easy, (finally!) so we'll see what happens from here. This goal is exhausting.

I have 30+ movies and an entire season of a show I wanted to watch sitting on my DVR. I have a big stack o' games & movies people have loaned me that I haven't touched. I really should be using the gym membership I paid for... maybe it's time for a break.

Oo, 150/150 games the past week! I managed to only break 75/150.

I raged when I saw what last week's challenge was. Had to play Grifball for the quick games. Finished it with about 90 minutes to spare.

Part of my motivation for completing so much is that I have kind of a completionist attitude... I have to have every achievement, games beat on every skill level, finish extra challenges, etc. For me to stop I will have to intentionally decide to stop.

I should also mention that the reason some of these challenges were really fun was the people I gamed with. I also had some help from a few people on the harder challenges when I needed it. So Thanks PirateSolo, Brick, Wheels, IX Spartan 458 & everyone else for the help. (Pirate, Finishing Pillar of Autumn LASO 2 players on our "scouting run" was a highlight ::thumbs::

I'm going to try to finish this week's challenge tonight/tomorrow so I can play another game the rest of the week. (Pirate will likely catch me on the daily challenges within the next 2 weeks or so, because I don't care! ::thumbs::

) I wish there was a way to see how many other people had all 40 weeklys.

Congrats man but I know how you feel. After the hog off two years ago getting Armchair first and myself fourth I literally hated driving the hog it had lost all fun so by all means take a break, you've earned it.

Thats mad dedication.. some of them i just couldn't do for some reason or another but mostly because some of them are outrageous.

Wow that's crazy man, I could never bother to do all the Firefight or LASO challenges.

Your not going to give up on the weeklies. I know you better than that. As long as they don't throw in LASOs Solo and even if they do I am sure you could figure in a way to complete those too. as the dailys stand I am one day away and I will catch you. I figured a way to get the Flat Tires in 40 minutes. Its called doubles arcade fight on Holdout. Take the sniper from the start. Pick up what ever weapon you need from the enemies dead carcuses. Last night I averaged a high of 6 banshees a game, 120+ kills with a needler, and 10 + assists per game. My daughter is being a real sport this summer. (cheers to those of you who have'nt kicked her from your parties once you realised its not me)

My goal is to have everything ONYX by Halo CE.

I might not have a choice. I'm on vacation the week of the 4th, I'll be getting home late on the 6th. So if it's a challenge that requires several days of effort I might not be able to pull it off.

Was'nt that a 2.5 hour scouting run. I think that was easier because with too many people it seemed hard keeping everyone alive.

I just finished #52 of 52 consecutive weekly challenges in Reach. Thanks again to Pirate, Wheels, Brick, and everyone else who has helped out along the way. It's taken a lot of time and a healthy portion of luck to finish my self imposed challenge.

I don't know if I'll keep going or not... I'm kind of considering going for 77 but for now I'll just take it one week at a time.

Anyway... time for some Black Ops! ::lol::
