Looks like favorite book won out. So, before EuroFox or Criporc can claim it I'm throwing up Faith of the Fallen by Terry Goodkind.

It's the 6th book of the Sword of Truth series (my favorite book series), and this is the best of the series IMO.

Here's a larger version of the cover art:

Yeah, that one is definitely one of the best. But I didn't pick that one. I think Euromofox and I cheated. I know I did, not sure about him, but I put a picture from my favourite book up before the vote finished :D

I picked Ship of Destiny by Robin Hobb.

Dr. Seuss is a genius. Pretty sure he's the main reason I know how to read now.

This is such a hard choice... I just finished reading the Wheel of Time... and the last book was the best in the series... in fact one of the best books I've ever read. There's also 2 other great series' to round out my favorite fantasy trifecta.... The Lord of the Rings and A Song of Ice and Fire. Since it took me so flippin' long to finish WoT I can't properly guage where it stands against those other two so....

I'll go with my longtime favorite... (from before I became a fantasy nut)

The Visitation by Frank Peretti is about a small town in Washington that recieves a man claiming to be Jesus Christ. I love this book for its character development. When I read it there are parts of it that really grip me emotionally, both happy and sad. There are key flashbacks in the book dealing with the main character's past that shape the way he recieves the man claiming to be Jesus. A very good read. (Note... if you've seen the movie... "Don't judge a book by its movie!" It is TERRIBLE! The WORST book to film adaption I've ever seen. In fact, despite the fact its my favorite book I refuse to watch the movie, EVER! They wrecked pretty much everything I love about the book)

I didn't put up a book cover, so much as a very important image/symbol from A Song of Ice and Fire..

It's not my favourite yet (because I"m not finished), but it looks like it's going to definitely be up there right next to Tolkien and The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb.

While on the subject of books, why don't you guys discuss some more here?
I buy books like some people buy shoes.

D-D-D-Double post! ::panic:: ::panic:: Well, now that I've got that out of my system, the series I'm posting largely is what started my addiction to reading. The Seventh tower series is an Amazing blend of intrigue, magic, and epic battles that was WAY beyond anything I had read up to that point in 2nd grade. Was probably a 7-8th grade level series, and Twas amazing!!
