I saw the review for this game on Polygon earlier today and have the demo in my queue to download when I get home. I'm actually really intrigued by this game.

Here's the E3 Trailer:

The game is about two brothers that have to venture across dangerous land to get a cure for their ailing father. You, as the player must control both brothers, Big and Little, simultaneously. You control Big with the left stick and left trigger, and you control Little with the right stick and right trigger.

Here's the video review, and a LINK to the article if you'd like to read more from the review:

Brothers tests the limits of what games are capable of communicating and, in doing so, strengthens the medium as a whole, if only a little. The game's final moments moved me to tears in the act of pressing a button. Not because it triggered some heart-wrenching dialogue or sorrowful music, but by the implications of the mechanic itself. I'm not sure there's a better compliment I can pay or a better indicator of how important of a game Brothers is.

I just finished the game. I haven't been this emotionally moved by a video game since the Mass Effect series. This game manages to convey a wide range of emotions without a single bit of dialogue. This game tells an amazing story through its mechanics, scenery, and interactions. It's just amazing.

Just go play it.

Looking forward to this on PC, always looking for nifty coop games to play with the flatmates.

This is not a co-op game. One player controls two characters at once.

I think I'm going to pick this up this afternoon. The overall rave reviews and the unique aspects of it, coupled with a length that's perfect for me right now, means it's worth my time.

I had some basic expectations for the plot after reading that, but what he's referring to caught me off-guard in a great way.

This game is very neat indeed. Also, it looks freakin' amazing.

A neat article/interview with the creative director (for people who have already played the game).
