I used to play a lot of Halo (ya rly). I enjoyed the company of the people I played with in this community. It made me better at one of my favorite games. That was all Halo 3. It was very addictive and even more fun. Not a whole lot of that changed for me when we all transitioned to Halo: Reach and through the online lifespan of that game. Then Halo 4 released and, er.. let's just say I tried to like it but it was not for me. Around that time my personal life was also changing, but I won't bore you with that. Point is, since then I've been gaming a) less overall and b) mostly on PC.
I also lost touch with everyone around here in the process. Which is strange and terrible because this place always felt like home.
I've picked up Halo 5 and an Xbox One and played my first games this last weekend. I like it better than I did Halo 4 and I'm excited to keep playing. It won't be as often and on such odd hours as before because of life stuff (mostly work which is my life at the moment). I also don't have a working mic at all (sorry Swift and everyone else in the party last saturday), but I'll fix that soon enough.
