It's well worth the read for forgers and competitive types (needs more info about how/if/what objectives influence the system tho).

Something that surprised me were the influence numbers for "Enemy Inside Respawn Zone" and "Ally Inside Respawn Zone". Correct me if I'm wrong, but in previous games, respawn zones simply acted as "lassos" for grouping spawn points to set common attributes. As long as they contained the desired spawn points and no undesired spawn points, their size or shape did not make any difference to the spawn system. But now, if a player crosses the boundary of a respawn zone, that will make a difference in how the spawn system makes decisions. Not a huge difference, but enough that it matters I think.

tl;dr the spawn system is now more complex and if you want to excel at predicting spawns in matchmaking you have to memorize spawn zone boundaries too, not just spawn points.
