The Silent Cartographer:

In this episode we learn that if you want to knock someone off a ledge make sure you don't kill them BEFORE they fall, that you shouldn't make Marines angry because you wouldn't like them when they are angry, and enjoy hearing "I misplaced my rockets about three betrayals ago!"

Assault on the Control Room was so large we had to split it into TWO parts. Between it being a long level and our level of fails it ended up being over an hour long of playtime.

Part 1:

Part 2: (which includes the funniest elevator fail I have EVER SEEN)

Icebird has completed Halo 2. It certainly would have been more fun to do as a co-op but it was still very enjoyable.

Immediately upon putting the disk in it took me back about 9 or 10 years. I couldn't bring myself to start the campaign right away so I wandered around a few of the Halo 2 maps. It's a little bit of a shock seeing Headlong and Ivory Tower in their H2 form - strange how you kinda remember playing Halo 2 with those maps in their Halo Reach form. The SOUNDS of the maps take me back too... the machines on Ascension & etc.

I'll admit, I couldn't play more than the 1st mission on Heroic, though heroic was the plan from the start. The checkpoints were too long and the different control setup was too frustrating for me. I figured since I'm playing it to enjoy it I'd go with normal; which still proved to be a bit challenging for me. I did miss the team shooting and the Lol's that go with the party.

I did enjoy the campaign though it is one of the weaker campaigns in the series. That said, there are a few missions that remain all time favorites. Delta Halo & Regret are probably my favorite (I consider it 1 - there was no clear break between the 2) Halo mission of all time. The plot of the campaign is really great and even though playing as the Arbiter is a little lame it's cool to get some of the Covenant story that you wouldn't know otherwise. (I want to know more about the Grunt Rebellion!) The Arbiter missions do mix up the play styles a bit for variety, I found myself using the camo to cover reloads and retreats quite a bit.

Master Chief and Sargeant Johnson are more badass - perhaps at their best ever. I found myself using the Covenant Carbine and the Brute Shot quite a bit.

Not sure what else to say really. But I am really hoping to see a Halo 2 Anniversary.

I am REALLY looking forward to our Halo 3 playthrough. We're starting ODST on Monday, at least that's the plan.

I've got two more missions for Halo 2 that I'll finish tonight. I agree the breaks between levels are MUCH longer...usually 2-3 missions worth that can stretch for an hour or more. I'll probably do a LOT more editing to the video then in any other version.

I love the Halo 2 campaign, and I really enjoyed the Arbiter levels. I thought they added some great variety to the gameplay and introduced things like the energy sword in an interesting way. I did die a lot more on Heroic then I was expecting, mostly from needlers (it took me almost half the game to remember that not only could you dual wield needlers but the covenant actually would shoot enough to blow you up!) and FRIGGIN JACKEL SNIPERS!!! I hate those sections. Yes, the sniper hated the Jackel sniper sections, because it's not about sniping, it's about memorizing where the damn things are and killing them before they can get two shots off.

Anyway I'll finish it up tonight and then have a LOT of editing to do. But I'm absolutely looking forward to having friends to play with again. Halo 2 is awesome, but friends are better. ::collab::

Speaking of editing video...

It's the dreaded Library level, the most hated level in the game. In this episode we learn that to play this legit you must take drugs, the repetition is repetitive, and that the best way to survive the Flood is to put Master Chief in a corner.

We're joined by special guest star Funster, a friend of mine from the Rooster Teeth community, for these two episodes of Two Betrayals!

Part one features us complaining about nerfed Banshees, pine for jalapeno poppers, and some behind the scenes info on how I sync my video and audio.

Part two features Banshee failures, Hunter on Hunter violence, and a suicide pact to get to the next level.

If you enjoy please go leave a thumbs up and a comment on the YouTube page? Show your fellow Wheelmen some love? ::collab::

Had loads of fun playing ODST, mostly because I missed the coop!

Almost done with Halo 1 videos:

Spoiler alert! We punch Keys in the face! And then Icebird wants to punch me in the face. And finally we learn true words of wisdom, "If you have not LANned, you have not lived."

We've reached the end of Halo 1!

The Maw features the debut of Icebird's hit single "BIG HUNTER", us attempting to keep Wheels awake, and a final explanation of how Johnson survived and got off Halo.

Up next is Halo 2. Since we don't live anywhere near each other and you can't play Halo 2 over XBL this will be a solo adventure. Expect a lot more edits, and a lot more...uh....me.

The ODST runthrough was fun. Great to get back to co-op. Love the mood of the game, the music(!), Malcom Reynolds 'lil cousin Buck, and pretty much everything else about it. Can't think of a single complaint - except maybe the plot is the weakest of all the Halo games.

I've been looking foward to the Halo 3 run for weeks now... and we decided to wait a week to start it. I'm starting to really get the Halo 4 itch...

ODST was a ton of fun, especially after Halo 2 and the lack of people to play with. Halo is fun alone, but SO MUCH MORE fun coop!

Speaking of Halo 2...

It's amazing how long it takes me to remember how to play each game...how grenades are thrown, how certain weapons are used, how vehicles work...I'm so used to Reach!

In this episode not only do I re-learn how to play the darn game, I get lost outside but get a really pretty view. And I don’t need to be creative, I’ve got stickies!

Happy Halloween!

A treat for you as you watch Jackal snipers play tricks on me.

I am reintroduced to the horrors of Jackal snipers, the failures of Marine gunners to actually shoot things, and canned beans. Its just me in a half destroyed Ghost, but I'm awesome. I'm also dead.

I hate you Jackal snipers. I hate you with the passion of a thousand suns. Also Elites in Ghosts think walls are awesome, and I'll slaughtered by my own Marines in a hog.

Apparently snipers and vehicles hate me.
