While we're all talking about spoilers I'd like to hop in real quick and give a big thanks to everyone here for being so careful in regards to respecting the desires of those who want to remain spoiler-free. You guys have all been really awesome and extremely careful about keeping even small things tucked away in the "spoiler" tags. Yet another reason why I love this site and community and will continue to come here for good info and good conversation. Thanks again, everyone!

ALL of the present and future spoilers I post will ALWAYS be in the spoiler tags. Don't worry, I know how it feels for stuff to be spoiled. Some jackass spoiled the ending of Reach for me (Before I knew about it via that website I posted).

you see if you'd have bought edition or normal your could use the difference to buy a microphone and a pair of shiny shoes for the lady cobra.

13 if you count the FW variants. I suspect there's at least one near-complete map that Microsoft is saving for future DLC tho.

On another note, it looks like I might be able to pick up Reach 4 days before launch. If anyone else gets it early, post here!

From a video I saw the focus rifle's beam that comes out looks a bit different. Not really much but it's a little skinnier kinda. I haven't seen anything for it but I'd bet that brutes no longer have energy shields since this is pre great schism. But I'd imagine chieftans would still have shields

Invasion is Red vs Blue now, for the reason UrbanSolder000 points out - players switch sides now in most variants of Invasion (though, like most things, that is configurable).

You seem to be forgetting that teams switch sides. In order for that to work, players have to be put on teams to keep score of which team won. Otherwise you'd end up with purple spartans and green elites.

I'm going to personally miss the Green Spartans and Purple Elites but it's a small loss.

It also didn't work too well in the Beta, whoever capped the core or got the last kill in Invasion Slayer would win, and the rest of the team got tied for second and the other team would all tie for fourth.
