Howdy folks, Luv Gunn here with some great news!

Recently the Wheelmen sucessfully playtested some of the best Invasion maps known to Halo with the Community Cartographers in preparation for the June Update.

Now, what maps were submitted for Matchmaking aren't publically known and no one will know what maps will make it THROUGH 343's playtests until the actual update happens. So a lot of things are still up in the air and nothing else can really be said about it.

That said, here are some links to the maps we played from the B.net group Blueprint. I believe you have to be a member to see the threads but if you aren't already its a good idea to join. THFE has some videos on some of the maps on their YouTube channel if you feel like giving them a view and a lot of the maps are posted here on the site as well. Now, without further ado, and in no particular order are The Maps:

Some played better than others and the 3 maps that the wheelmen have been playtesting for months really showed their polish with the exception of an errant Kill Zone that I had added earlier that day in an effort to make things perfect but somehow mislabeled. I blame Ducke...

When we know more about the coming update to Invasion we'll be sure to try our best to keep it to ourselves or drop the smallest hints in an unbearably douchey way but until then feel free to speculate and name call.

Sounds fantastic! Keep us updated, it'll be awesome to see some new Invasion maps...get some Invasion groups rolling again!

Woot!!! Variety.... Just in time for a new game.......

Hoping this brings back more people to Invasion as it was getting really stale. I enjoyed most of those maps but three really stood out, one of which is just awesome :p

There are a few maps on the list I didn't enjoy playing, but most of them play rather well and I'm glad matchmaking Invasion will finally get some diversity. Constantly playing the same 2 maps (and Breakpoint being a wild card every now and then) gets pretty boring over time.

This week's Halo Bulletin drops sometime today/tomorrow... hopefully the details of the whole Invasion playlist refresh are in it.

Hoping for some good news this week! We have really put alot of work into these maps!

Broadcast, Floodgate, Overgrowth, and my own map (woot!) Refinery are all being implimented into matchmaking for the June update! Congrats to everyone who made it!

Ive been a little out of the Forge loop lately, mostly with Uni, amongst other things.

I just wanted to drop by to offer congratulations to all of you, especially the mapsmiths of Refinery, Overgrowth, Broadcast, and Floodgate. I had fun in the few games I've played on these maps a few months ago, and I know how much thought and work has gone in to producing such high quality invasion experiences, with the limits of tools, objects and budget the the forge constrains.

So once again, congratulations! I think I might jump on Reach once the update goes live to say hello, and see how the maps play in a Matchmaking environment.

Good job, guys. Can't wait for the updates to take place. Here's the bulletin and playlist updates are towards the bottom.

Suck it Sarge. Its official. A matchmaking suitable - custom invasion map can be built. For those who are unaware, my motivation for building Uplink (the terrible map that evolved into Broadcast) was to prove Sarge wrong, because back then (over a year and a half ago) he thought it was impossible given our resources.

Thank you again to everyone who helped escpecailly Luv Gunn, Sarge, BlacKnight, Valk, Yozi, and Thomas. I may not be able to play Broadcast in MM until August, so I'm going to rely on all of you to let me know how it goes.

This update also means we need to start strategizing again.
