Now don't get me wrong, I love Reach, I really do but... I'm getting tired of things like this.

I don't care what you say, if I can get a Beat Down there should be absolutely no way someone can get a headshot on me and get revenge. Seriously, the whole fact that you have to be BEHIND someone in order to get it should make that kinda obvious.
Again, I love Reach but the little things like this that keep happening to me are what's keeping me from playing this game a lot more than I would normally.

Yah, I understand your frustration. It tends to happen in SWAT because SWAT is a very fast paced gametype, whereas default Reach settings are pretty slow paced. When you play a fast paced game on a game engine built for slow paced gameplay, then it may not always transfer seamlessly. Granted, the hit-scan thing can be a bit annoying in SWAT, but I still think its better than having the host determine which team wins the game.

It's happened to me a few times in Invasion, and almost every game in SWAT.

I mean, I know what the problem is, and I understand there isn't a whole lot to do about it but... It's ruined Infection, it's ruining SWAT, and chances are Grifball's gonna get ruined because of this too.

Every day I look forward to Homefront more and more.

This is a repeated phenomenon? I've played plenty of swat and had lots of weird trades, but mostly they don't seem to bother me. Let's try not to get too upset with the game as a whole just because of a single incident like this ::collab::

there was plenty of bs things in H3 i've seen like people dropping live grenades when they die... it's probably just an isolated occurence

It's a VERY common thing. Not with this particular incident, but I've have many mutual Beat Downs (No, I don't mean pummels.) the Mutual Headshots are ticking me off, and it's more than common for me to see someone on my screen, clearly in front of me, and somehow they manage to assassinate me.
It's not just one incident, it's a lot.

The mutual kills in Reach annoy me lots which is a trade off with hitscan. I can see it being a huge problem in grifball.

I kind of understand what you're saying.

The assasination/headshot thing seemed a little bit silly.

But the general trading of headshots... theres nothing wrong with that.
You shoot him, he shoots you. You both die. What's wrong with that?

It's better than the bs system Halo 3 used, where whoever had the better connection to the host would always win.

If you're getting annoyed enough to make a thread on the forums I would suggest taking a breather from the game and try playing something else you enjoy for a bit.

Normally I don't care too much but the ones that bother me is when I shoot someone, he clearly dies, then a full second or two later suddenly I'm dead from a headshot by that person.
Regular mutual headshots also shouldn't be possible on a hitscan system since the bullet travels at an infinite speed. Both people would have to pull the trigger and fire at the EXACT same time, not even .0000000000000000001 of a difference. Which theoretically is possible, but not this much.

Have barely played in the last month, I miss the part of my gaming that Halo used to fill, but I don't miss Reach that much.

Of course I spent a week in Vegas for Christmas and in my second week with my GF, so part of my reason for not playing is not being around it, but at the same time I was starting to get really frustrated with it.

That would be fair if it was a LAN

Most online multiplayer games have problems with varying connection speeds. The trading Headshots/Pummels system is probably supposed to curb the advantage some players might have
