EDIT: Got the tracking system to work. Turns out I did have to register.

I'm really surprised I'm in 16th place looking at that chart (I have 1340 wheelmen, just in competitive). This made my night!

oh well, i just started gunning again last weekend and i'm doing pretty good i think. Hope to see myself on these charts by this coming weekend.

yea im in the top 100 about 34th or so been kinda hard to get wheelmen with now real gunner just a bunch of randoms. That and when I do play with my gunner/wife she dont want to play btb or invasion

did someone checked the wheelman leaderboards for halo 3 lately?
i recognized that there were lacking a lot of big names and there are some names i never saw/heard of before and i don't think that the people who are lacking cheated so they got banned

I haven't been driving much in Reach as the hog really isn't that important compared to what it was in Halo3 :[

I first thought that too but as i play i notice it's not entirely true. No, the hog doesn't play the same role as it used to, but that doesn't mean its unessential or unimportant.

With the changes to how the hog works, one just has to change how they use the hog. It is no longer a kill machine, you can't take the hog into enemy territory guns a' blazing and expect tog et anything from it. Instead, the hog takes on a more supportive role. You use the hog mainly with hit and run tactics because it is much weaker against other vehicles such as the revnant and wraith.

As i continue to gun in Reach something i noticed is that gunners seem to get a lot more assists. This is because a hog can't stay in a hot zone very long had has to go back to the hit and run tactic i mentioned. Much of my time gunning i am doing damage to the enemy vehicles so that someone else can end up finishing it.

So, in conclusion i say that it is not correct that the hog is unimportant, just that it has a different, supportive role.

Totally agree, the hog is just as important as it was in Halo 3, it just needs to be used differently.

yeah remember that one flag spire game that we really helped out our team by keeping the hog alive, checkpoint?
