Lol, I remember eventually in H3 I got a lot of satisfaction out of AR Rushing + Melee BECAUSE it was so "cheap" and it pissed people off so much. I preferred to BR, but that wasn't always a choice or the optimal choice, so I AR rushed with a smile on my face.
I get irritated with people who say Armor Lock is broken or jet packs are garbage because like you said Oboe, what they're saying is "I haven't tried it."
I personally have my greatest weaknesses in CQB. The sprinting pummeller gets lots of kills on me. Every time it happens a little rage bubble bursts in my chest (Before inflating) and I remind myself that I need to get better at dealing with threats that are in right in my face.
I will add on to Oboe's challenge a piece of advice: Be as cheap as possible, because pissing the enemy team off is a huge advantage. Whenever I'd end up playing against people who I know, I target the people who I know have bad tempers. I track them down across the map and ruin their day, because if they get pissed and start raging into their mics then their team's focus is shattered.
An angry enemy will assassinate you, not beat you down, because they want to rub it in your face. Assassinations take longer than beat downs and they're standing still the whole time.
They'll tea-bag you. Call them out and you'll get to watch them die on your death cam before you respawn.
They'll keep trying to kill YOU, and so you set up so that they can't possibly come out ahead if they keep going for your position.
Much of my behavior in this game (aside from what I say into a mic) is directed at making my enemy snap. When I can't do that, I re-focus on ruining their happy moments (End their spree, take their weapon, etc.).
It's pretty common knowledge that a foul temper serves no real purpose, make it serve YOUR purpose. People who get angry and rage about things in their mics KNOW it's not helping, so make sure it helps YOU.
