The year is 2033, and mankind's first manned mission to Mars is about to become reality. This is the story of how we make Mars home, told by the pioneers making it possible.

About MARS:
From executive producers Brian Grazer & Ron Howard, MARS is an epic series following a thrilling quest - in 2032 - to colonize Mars. In a unique blend of scripted drama and feature-film caliber visual effects, intercut with documentary sequences, the series presents what the greatest minds in space exploration are doing to make traveling to Mars a reality, and shows us the world they seek.

The lead-in episode "Before Mars" is available on YouTube.

The series airs Mondays at 9 Eastern on Nat Geo. If you have access to a cable subscription, you can watch the show on the NatGeo TV app on Xbox or on their website. Alternatively, all episodes will be available on Hulu after the last episode premieres some time at the end of this year.

I was crying last night while watching this.

As I find them I'll post YouTube links. Above your post I linked to episode 1, and NatGeo provided episode zero on their YouTube channel.

Great show thus far. Watched with Swift. It gives me chills about every 2 minutes or so... Pretty inspirational. Can't wait for number 3, and can't wait to weigh risks and rewards on my plastic tub (fiberglass reinforced polyester boat).

Thanks to you I've been binged the first season and am on to the second. I really like how they've set this show up, it's a unique way of showing both sides of the coin.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish this. Saw Episode 1 and 2 with Monkey and then they stopped putting them on Youtube.
