We learned today that John Boyega will star in Pacific Rim 2.
We also learned last month that the screenwriter for Jurassic World has joined the team.
The film is ago because a Chinese studio bought out Lionsgate, and wanted the film to go forward for its international appeal.
I'm excited.

I went and bought a digital copy of Pacific Rim (2.99, yay) just so I could continue my personal hype without digging out the dvd.

This is one of my favorite movies. I often go to the beach and walk through the waves imagining that I am a Jager "fighting the hurricane". Not even kidding....

The first movie was loads of fun, and while I have no idea HOW they can do a sequel I'm excited for more of that awesome stuff. Plus John Boyega makes everything better.
