SO I'M FULLY JOINING THE HYPE!
But yea... I finished Elantris yesterday, very good standalone story BUT
Spoiler: show
the way I see it he left enough open questions or lets say "teasers" in the story unexplained to write another story that takes place in arelon.
We could read that the Pagan like rituals of the Fjordell people were also a way to gain access to the Dor. I think the whole concept of the Fjordell(ic)? Battlemonks and their way of Religion leaves alot room to play around. Sarene also mentioned some interesting fact about the first wyrn not beeing Derethic and I'm almost sure this can't be just a random unimportant fact Sanderson told us there. There is alot of ackground story to it.
Background story to Dreak the Iron (?)/ Kiin would be fun too.
How came it that the original religion got separeted into the three parts Shu-Korath,Shu-Dereth and (I forgot) .Also the Jeskeric Myths are a big point (which are basically downright satanistic rituals).
The Battledance Shuden practiced also seemed to be a way to access the Dor and it reminds strongly at real world Tai-chi which is said to is used to regulate the energy centers /chakras in your body.

I could imagine a big war between the other countries and Fjorden/fjordell? oh man I mix things up now. There also has to be other Countries too since the got named before so maybe they have their own ancient technices for the Dor.

Yes I wa quite impressed and I liked the Character Hrathen.

Brandon gave us an update on Stormlight 3. Looks like we're heading into the fourth revision and then the final draft. Still on track for November.

Tor has revealed the cover for Oathbringer (Stormlight 3).

Due to spoilers, I am only including a link. Do not click this if you haven't read Words of Radiance.

I prefer the UK book covers because they all share the same theme which is nice when you see them side by side but that cover looks cool and give us a good idea of what to expect going forward.

I mean I could also just take pictures of my books that I have? I don't know if Panda has physical or digital copies.

I have the Mistborn triology as a set and the box has some really cool art. Kinda sad you can't by the second era books as a box set.

The second era has one more book to release, and then they'll probably release a box set. The second era went from being one book, to four books.

Ah gotcha. I figured that may have been the case. I just love the whole style. Whoever came up with that idea of the uniform font and art style with different colours depending on planets/series is awesome.

Click on the pictures if you want a bigger version to open in a new window.

Most of the books that have that same font with a splash of colour are the paperback versions. A few of the books then have alternate versions for the hardcover and kindle copies. I haven't read the Stormlight Archive yet so I haven't even seen the cover of Oathbringers but I would assume they haven't decided upon a UK version as it never showed up when searching.

I have them as ebooks Swift so I was going to just take pictures from google but you beat me to it. They just look so cool side by side like that, my favorites are the stormlight and mistborn covers but the elantris is pretty nice also.
