There's a cinema here in Seattle called Cinebarre, which Luke and I love for a variety of reasons; comfy seats, excellent staff, but mostly it serves food and alcohol so it's 21 and over. No children. Which make going to see movies SO much nicer when you don't have to worry about misbehaving kids at a Marvel movie, or babies behind you.
One of the smaller joys is that instead of ads before the movie they would show short student films. Many were forgettable or boring, pretentious art piece fluff. But even the worst student film was better then ads. And there was always at least one that was VERY well done.
This short reminded me of those joyful moments, half watching a short student work and suddenly not talking anymore but actually WATCHING something
Thank you.
