Well, here goes.

I don't like to do things half assed, and I can't commit enough effort to halo to be a contributer to this community in the way that I would like to. I am not able to keep up with the meta, my gunning is garbage, and I overall just feel like I am falling way behind. Coming to the site frustrates me, not being qualified to do anything anymore frustrates me, and not being the best I can be really frustrates me.

I hope to get my mind right and body right soon. Once the field season starts on the Manta, and once Rachel leaves for Alaska, my time onshore will be devided between getting my boat and business closer to functioning, and Halo. Until then, coming here just makes me feel like crap and pretty worthless.

So, in true Hel Monkey fashion, I'm just going to quit

See ya'll on the flip side. I'm sorry.

Hang in there buddy, you know you will always have a loving family here waiting for you with open arms. We want only what is best for you mentally and physically, if you ever need to talk or blow off some steam I am always willing to lend an ear and share some feelings, no need to go it alone brother. Your awesome gunning and beautiful voice that is eerily similar to mine will be missed, don't go too far now. Help will always be given to those who ask. Wish you nothing but the best and sending you the most positive of vibrations, I look forward to your correcting my knowledge of nautical creatures in the near future. Drop by for a game when you can, love you buddy!

We'll be waiting for your call.

You may think you are worthless, and you may think you suck but none of that matters here. I would rather play with someone who sucks and have a great time than someone who is good and boring to play with. You aren't worthless, believe it or not a lot of people like you here including myself. Everytime I played with you I always had a great time even if we died in the same warthog together I found it fun. Don't beat yourself up over pointless thoughts that aren't true. You do matter to this community and others, but of you have personal stuff you have to take care of then go for it everyone here will be wishing you the best luck and will be waiting for you when you return.

Regurgitating my post from earlier in this thread.
Here I go.

Hey guys!

Just wanted to give a general notice. I am leaving on a trip this Wednesday (the 15th), and will be gone until the Sunday after next (the 26th). During this time I will be helping out at a camp I am rather invested in, and will have no internet access except to occasionally pull some media content for said camp.
I will also spend some of this time meditating on trying to be calmer, as I have noticed I have become much saltier in the past couple weeks.
Anyways, see you on the flipside!

Starting tomorrow, I've decided to take an official leave of absence from gaming in general. As of this moment I am working full 45+ hour weeks on top of taking a calculus course during my lunch breaks every day. It's been a difficult and rapid transition, but I've needed to come to terms with the fact that for the foreseeable future, my free time is forfeit. As much as I'd like to be able to balance work, school, gaming, and my personal health I simply can't and need to let the least important of them fall to the wayside for the time being.

Hopefully my life will settle down a bit in the near future and I'll get time to squeeze in a game here or there but right now I'm a bit too tense to enjoy the game and need to put it down for now. I wish everyone luck going forward, and I'll see you guys around the forums in a limited capacity. :laser:

Best of luck buddy, school is a pain sometimes but it's a bigger priority. I'm a little in that boat but not as much as you. We'll be here when you get back.
