Brick's bike commute adventures 2016

Wed Feb 01, 2017 9:37 am

Please, if you drive, keep an extra eye out. If there's a bike lane next to you, bike has right of way, check your mirrors.

Check out last year's if you missed it: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15263

These are honestly some of my favorite Brick videos. Once a year I worry for Brick's safety for at least two weeks after watching this.

I loved the part when the two guys crashed into each other like they were super oblivious of their surroundings.

the guy who you see first has a green light... completely got plowed into by a red light runner. 2nd guy is lucky he didn't get creamed by a car

I had my first real experience riding in the snow this winter. On my road bike with terrible tires. It was so much fun! When I left to go to the bar that night, it was just starting to snow and the roads were clear. When I got to the bar, there was a light dusting of snow but it was coming down hard. When I left the bar, there were a good 3-4 inches on everything and nothing was plowed. I didn't even wipe out, which surprised me, but I did have to walk probably half the way home. I was cackling and grinning the whole way.

Well, glad you survived all of the idiots! We have a lot of red light/stop sign runners here, too. And don't even get me started on New York City. What a nightmare.

Good stuff.

Something about the sounds of you riding is really cool.
