Whose Line?

Thu Apr 04, 2013 12:31 pm

Any other fans of Whose Line Is It Anyway? around here? I've been watching re-runs of this show for so long (and watching YouTube clips on my lunch breaks), it is just a freakin' hilarious show.

Apparently, IT IS COMING BACK!!!!! ::panic:: ::bump:: ::panic:: :D

That's right, they are already recording new WLIIA? episodes to be aired on The CW. At first I was like "BAD APRIL FOOL'S" but apparently it has been in the works for months, with news stories about it and everything, so if it is an April Fool's joke, it was started long ago...in which case these people are HEARTLESS ::evil::

On a related note, anybody else see some good April Fool's jokes? I saw a J.K. Rowling announcement of another Harry Potter book (which I immediately knew was a joke) but that was about it.

I used to watch this years ago when it was on TV. It was pretty funny, but there are shows that i like more.

As for April Fools jokes, the only one i saw was Bungie's Lionman character development for Destiny. It was pretty funny, i guess.

Netflix had a pretty good joke with the categories.

Two categories I saw were "Reality TV Shows About People With No Sense of Reality" and "Movies in English that Still Require Subtitles"

One fans posted was "Movies with Famous Nicholas Cage Freakouts"

thats awesome. i always enjoyed Whos line and actually went so far as to watch a montage of scenes from a hat that lasted 20 minutes. i think its an awesome show and now i cant wait to start watching it again. do you know if its still going to be the same actors/comedians doing the scenes?

Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles are both still on it, and Wayne Brady as well. As for the others like Chip, Greg, Kathy, etc. I have no idea. There is also going to be a different host...not that Drew Carey added a whole lot to the show himself, but his interactions with Colin and Ryan were hilarious, mostly at his expense since he just couldn't keep up with them ::lol::

P.S.- I never did get to watch the British version, so this is all based on the American version...for all the people across that little body of water known as the Atlantic Ocean...

Really glad to hear this is coming back with much of the regulars. It was those guys and gals who made the show...they are EXCELLENT improv actors and are simply a joy to watch. And it's obvious they're all really comfy with each other and willing to just do anything for a laugh! ::bump::

All the original Whose Lines (both British and American) are on YouTube. I used to have a site bookmarked that had them organized but just you can just search on youTube. They're there and still hysterical.

I don't have the CW...but something tells me those will also end up on line.
This sig available for rent.
