As some of you may have seen, DuckE has written a thread about rainbows...

This is an attempt to encourage people not to freak out over the information I've just given you. I personally, was shocked.

When we first saw this picture from DuckE's own room:



posted in this post here, I assumed DuckE was a Star Wars fan. He also watched Plinkett's reviews with Dawg and me, so we also figured he was on board as a Star Wars fan.

HOWEVER

Last night, while watching Star Trek: Enterprise, I learned that DuckE has ONLY seen the Star Wars prequels. I cannot tell you how shocked and disappointed I was. I demanded that DuckE go by a friend and watch the original trilogy as soon as possible.

Jedi, and all my other Star Wars fans, please join me in providing peer pressure on DuckE. We must save him from himself.

DuckE, if you've only seen the Star Wars prequels, you MUST see the original trilogy. The original trilogy is filled with 1000 times more awesomesauce, and is 10000 times more epic!

Ok, I may have been exaggerating a bit, but the bottom line is if you liked the prequels, you'll LOVE the original trilogy. And if you didn't like the prequels, you'll STILL love the original trilogy!

The Empire Strikes Back is the most boringest one, but still, you should probably watch them.

Star Wars could never be instantly available. How is George Lucas going to milk as much money as possible from Star Wars if we could watch it instantly?

Ducke...the prequels are inferior in every way. In sharp contrast, the original Star Wars trilogy is a space opera of epic proportions, greater than all others. The classic story of a hero rising to overcome adversity, to save the noble cause, and to be heir of another noble order that has protected the galaxy for more than a thousand generations.

Plinkett's reviews will make alot more sense once you see exactly what he is comparing the prequels to. The only thing that is better about the prequels are the graphics, and anybody who's played Minecraft knows that graphics don't make or break something, they are just a shiny little extra, and graphics aren't nearly enough to make the prequels good.

Personally my favourite Star Wars movie was Episode 2... Only because the clones are my favourite But the original trilogy is extremely good.. especially considering the troubles they had trying to do the special effects back then.. oh and the story is good too.

I thought it was impossible to use "not seen" and "original Stars Wars trilogy" in the same sentence.

i like the old story and the older special effects more than the new one.
